Old School

Another adventure we had over our long weekend brought us to one of our favorite local farms.  Musterfield Farm is a historic homestead and a working farm.  My sister got married there.  We love visiting for the Farm Days in the summer and the Harvest Days in the fall.  This time we headed over to watch the ice cutting on the lake down the road.  The ice brought to the farm from the lake that day is put in the old ice house and covered in saw dust and is used throughout the rest of the year on the farm.  Unfortunately, Sunday was too warm for the ice cutting, but instead we got to see some amazing antique snow mobiles!  We snuggled into the back of the old trucks and the owners gave us rides around the fields.  It was a really fun experience and Camden, especially, was in heaven!
Love the excitement on Camden's face here!
Even Micah went for a ride!
We warmed up in the old one room school house where they were serving hot drinks and cupcakes!
So thankful to have so many fun opportunities to share with our boys right out our doors!  Feeling very lucky and blessed to be living in this little neck of the woods that we call home!
