2011 was a crazy, busy, wonderful year for us. Highlights include gutting, rebuilding, moving into and getting settled in our very own home, watching our two little boys grow (Micah was only 3 months old at the start of 2011) and start to play and wrestle and laugh like brothers do, enjoying lots of wonderful time with our families who we are so blessed to see so often and strengthening old friendships and making new ones! Scott and I sat in front of the fire last night wondering what God had in store for us in 2012...we can't wait to find out!
We went on a special hike today all by ourselves! Scott's parents were kind enough to play with the kids so we could have some time by ourselves. We had so much fun tromping through the woods along a beautiful rushing stream, chatting about work, our boys, our home, our lives together. We laughed. It was wonderful. I think 2012 is off to a great start! :)

My goals for 2012 are to be a really, really attentive, caring, patient, loving Mama and Wife to my family, start taking my love for photography seriously and actually learn how to use my camera manually and edit photos, etc, spend a lot more time in prayer and in God's word - I want this to be a year of
