We spent a wonderful few days on Lake George last week with Scott's family. They owned an incredible camp on the water for seventeen years and just sold it this spring. Luckily, they sold it to some family friends and we were able to spend some time there even though they don't own it anymore. This beautiful place played a huge role in Scott's childhood and has been a favorite summer adventure spot for us over the years. Although it was sad to be there, knowing that the Allenbys don't own it anymore, it was so special to spend some time together enjoying one of our favorite places on earth. Here are some pictures from the lake...
On top of Anthony's Nose with Brian, Sarah, Scott and Camden (Steve and Nancy were there too!)

Making funny faces...

Camden playing on a bulldozer after our hike...

Playing our annual game of Home Run Derby (an Allenby favorite)...

Hanging out on the dock with my little man...

Feeding Camden some lunch on the porch!

Getting ready to take Camden out on the lake for his first kayak ride...

Heading off in the kayak...

Throwing rocks off the dock with Nan...

Beautiful sunset...

Roasting marshmallows around the campfire...and still representing Gordon after all these years!

Our little family enjoying the water...

Playing with Pop on the dock...

Happy baby boy...

Great blog sweetie! Thanks for continuing to document our life for us, not sure what I would do without you...
Cute, cute cute! I'm so glad to see some pics of your time there!
So I want to know if that kayaker out there in the water during the home run derby game retrieves all the balls? Looks fun!

The kayaker is indeed the retriever, except when Lindsey is batting, then the person is merely enjoying the water and the sun, but not necessarily chasing balls. Shortly after that picture was taken, my brother reached back for a ball trying to catch it and tipped over...it is a hazard of the job, but someone has to do it.
