In many ways it was pretty ordinary week...
We cleaned up our Christmas decorations which Camden was not very happy about...
Read some Sports Illustrated...
Had lots of Mommy/Camden time...
...and did LOTS of laundry (this was just an ordinary day...wow...we do this multiple times a week PLUS all our cloth diapers! Yikes!
We had some wonderful moments this week too...
On Thursday Camden and I went to our first Mommy and Me Swim class at the beautiful new Upper Valley Aquatic Center just over the line into Vermont. We are doing the class with my friend Molly and her son Linden who live here at Proctor with us. The class is just 30 minutes long and includes some fun little songs and games and is really geared to help your child become more comfortable in the water. Camden was very hesitant for most of the class. He clung to me like a little monkey, but started to get more comfortable near the end. We stayed and played in the pool for another half hour with Molly and Linden, and by the end Camden was jumping off the edge of the pool into my arms and immediately doing his sign for "more." We're definitely looking forward to next Thursday and I'm excited to see Camden grow more and more comfortable in the water. (I'm going to try to bring my camera next week and see if I can get some pictures)!
Scott had a really busy week with classes and basketball practice and various meetings, but today we enjoyed a beautiful sunny walk together through the Meadow. The highlight for Camden was discovering his shadow as we walked across Carr Field! It was so funny to see him try to wrap his head around what he was seeing. He had fun jumping on Mommy and Daddy's shadows and watching our reactions. Here are some pictures from our walk...
