Pit Stop

We left the beaches of the Cape for the loooong drive to Ohio.  We headed out there to spend time with Scott's extended family and to celebrate his grandparents 60th Anniversary and 80th birthdays!  Pretty incredible milestones!  Seeing as our boys don't like being in the car for 20 minutes, let alone 12 hours, we were a little nervous about how the trip was going to go.  Luckily, they were champs (and it helped that I mastered the art of lying across the entire car to nurse Micah in his carseat while driving.  Unfortunately, because we have a baby who doesn't take a bottle or a binky, this happened quite frequently!). 
We broke up the trip by stopping to see our wonderful friends, Courtney and Adam, in New York state.  Courtney is a dear, dear friend of mine from college and it is always sooo amazing to see her - even when it's only for a couple of hours!  We let the kids run around together and get some of their energy out and enjoyed catching up on life.  Unfortunately, Adam had to work, but he swung by in his awesome car (he's a state trooper!) to say hi!  Camden thought that was pretty awesome!  Thanks Court and Adam for letting us stop in!  We had a blast!
