Our Wonderful Whirlwind Wedding Weekend

Last weekend was a busy, but WONDERFUL weekend for us.  I've been meaning to blog about it all week, but when I visited my in-laws yesterday and saw that my mother-in-law had already printed all the wedding pictures and put them in an album on display in the living room I definitely realized that I had no excuse not to have blogged yet!

Unfortunately, Proctor's graduation and Scott's brother Jeff's wedding both fell on Memorial Day Weekend this year.  We attended Senior Dinner on Friday night, went to Graduation Saturday morning and had to sneak out early to make it to the airport in time to board our flight to Richmond, VA!  Here are a few pictures from Senior Dinner...

My former advisee, Hannah...
Me and Maggie - I taught her and coached her in soccer.  She's a great girl and her family is lending us their condo in Eastman this coming week for a little vacation!!!  (There will be a blog on that later!  Don't worry)!
Scott and Harris.  Harris lived in our dorm for his first two years at Proctor and we got to know him and his family very well.  He's playing football at Boston College next year!
Luckily, flying in and out of Manchester is amazingly easy and stress-free so we had no problems and no lines to wait in on Saturday.  Of course, making our connecting flight in Dulles wasn't quite as enjoyable as we hauled our luggage and toddler what seemed like miles (actually I'm not even sure that is an exaggeration - we literally walked up and down and underground, pushing Camden in the stroller onto about 10 escalators (don't worry, we were super careful!)).  Camden did a great job on the flights and we were happy to land in Richmond and grab our rental car without any hangups.  We changed for the rehearsal dinner IN our rental car and arrived to a delicious meal and a huge table of family and friends just a little bit late!  Phew!
Camden and Uncle Brian...

On Sunday we enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool (twice!) and eating lunch on the pool deck with family and then had an amazing time celebrating Jeff and Ashley's marriage that evening.  Although Camden refused to wear the little tie I bought for him, he still looked very handsome and Scott was a stud in his tux!
The weather was super hot, but Ashley and Jeff were brilliant and printed their programs in the form of a fan - we put great use to that program throughout the ceremony.  Camden didn't last long...he kept saying "Dada" and wondering why Scott was standing about 8 feet from us but he couldn't go see him.  We ended up walking around the grounds in the back exploring the gardens and poking holes in the ground with sticks and I was able to still listen and see most of what was going on up front.  Here are some more pictures from our weekend...

Jeff and Ashley make a beautiful couple and it was so fun to meet Ashley's family.  I'm thrilled to have another woman in this family of men and in November our sister-in-law sisterhood will be complete when Brian and Sarah get married!
Jeff and Ashley - Thank you so much for a beautiful and fun weekend!  It was perfect!
